What is the difference between the LONGi Roof BIPV system and a traditional distributed rooftop PV system?
- LONGi roof BIPV system integrates the PV power generation system with high-quality metal roofing system. It meets the structural and \architectural design requirements, including complete roofing building details such as purlins, inner plates, insulation cotton, outer plates, and the PV power generation layer. (Traditional rooftop PV is installed on top of the roof.)
What are the applications best suited for the LONGi Roof BIPV system?
- LONGi Roof BIPV metal roofing systems are suitable for use with the steel structure systems of lightweight buildings with portal steel frames. It can be also used for new steel structure building roofs and renovated steel structure building roofs.
What is the LONGi Roof BIPV system construction process?
- The roof construction process is basically the same as that of conventional color steel tile roofs, and the color steel tile needs to be pressed on site and automatically locked by an automatic edge-locking machine. For PV module installation, LONGi’s automatic installation equipment uses automatic gluing, with pre-punching and automatic fastening employed to reduce manual participation. LONGi has established standard operating procedures to provide standardized guidance for construction.
